How did you learn how to crochet?
I was first taught age 13 by my Auntie Joanne. I had just found out thay my other Auntie Lynsey was pregnant and I wanted to make a blanket for the baby much like my Auntie Joanne had done for me growing up! I never finished the blanket. To this day it is only about 80cm square and is used to cover the chair that my cat sleeps on at night.
As you can see, its really wibbly wobbly all over the place. All the stitches are different heights but I still have a fondness for it as it was the first thing I attempted to make!
Still better than anything I ever did with a crochet hook! Also it is nice to keep reminders of your progress around, right? I don’t suppose the cat judges it as harshly as you do!
